3º Poll: Are you treating your blog as a business?

by Sam on December 12, 2009 · 3 comments

This is keepblogging.net’s third poll.

The second poll has been closed now and we have some pretty interesting results.

I was asking whether you where using more income sources apart from the typical Google Adsense.

The results are clear: 67% of those who voted are not using any income source apart from Adsense.

Then, there’s one of the reasons why those will hardly make any money blogging. I’m always saying it: While it’s legal, use as many income sources as you can.

You can check my make money blogging page to check the income sources mentioned on keepblogging.net. It’s still under construction, but you will find it useful.

Today’s poll should tell another reason why you might not be making money from your blog yet.

Are you treating your blog as a business?

I made a post (actually a draft) about this topic, but I thought it would be good to know a bit more about it before publishing the post.

Whit “treating your blog as a business” I mean whether you have some external projects, related to your blog’s niche.

Waiting for your votes; thank you all for your participation.

Thanks for reading.

No, I treated them as a hobby and I think that is why I did not make alot of money with them.

The person I sold them to made more money in his first month because he ran them as a business.

That’s the point. Hopefully I’ll write a post sharing ideas to run a blog as a business.

Let’s see the poll’s results after a week.
