Best of 2009 – Part I | Blogging tips that help to make money blogging

Well the year is reaching its end. It’s been a great year for me, both from the personal and professional point of view.

As you know, I started the blog back on August. Since then I’ve posted more than 100 articles. It’s hard to pick up the best ones, but I’ve selected the best ones, the more useful.

Can’t start this review post without remembering how my first post was. I gave an important tip for beginners on my first post, explaining why a first post is always very important.

When starting, you take an important decision: your blog’s keywords. You need it because you need keywords that bring you some good amount of traffic and that are the less competitive, the better.

You may want to check this post about how to chose a profitable niche too, if you’re thinking about creating a blog.

It’s known that traffic is The Factor when it comes to business online. There are such a high amount of traffic sources out there.

Two of the best –mostly because apart from the traffic itself you will build a profile- traffic sources are forums and blog commenting. But not every forum / blog is useful; you need forums and blogs that are niche-related. I explained how to find forums and blogs related to your niche, so check it out.

I’ve made –and still making- a how to make money blogging post series. I post about the money making sources that have worked best for me, so you may want to take a look at them.

The confusion around the nofollow and dofollow tags pushed me to publish an article explaining what they’re about.

If you still don’t have a clue about those tags, you better hurry and check the post about the nofollow and dofollow tags, because they can really hurt if not used properly.

During September, I had the pleasure to have a nice chat with two of the most successful bloggers out there. I’m talking about Carl Ocab and Daniel Scocco. You want to check these interviews to learn from the masters.
