Ping services are used to let search engines and blog directories know that you’ve updated your site.
When having a blog, it’s important to ping, as it’s a site that get’s updated frequently.

I recommend to copy this list on the settings -> writing section. As shown on the image.
Once you make a post, you’ll automaticly send a ping to all those ping services.

What a list you have there. I only use pingomatic service for my blog.

Yes, as wordpress does the ping for me, the largest the list, the better.

nice list, I use Pingomatic and Pingler, they seem to be working good thus far.
