Traffic.
It’s pretty easy to monetize a blog and make money blogging. Few ads here and there and voila, you’re on your way to the six figures blogging income.
But it’s harder to get some traffic to monetize. We always read tips to get traffic, so I’ve decided to share some tips to, when reached, not to lose that traffic.
TrafficSource
Let me first tell you that organic traffic is just unpredictable. It can bring thousands of visitors to a blog, but your blog may suddenly drop from search rankings and kill your blog.
That’s why it would be nice to have some traffic sources apart from the organic one.
There goes tip number one.
Posting strategy
Making post series are a great way to post, as they provide several benefits, such as
-> A more focused and detailed content
-> An easier reading experience, as long texts look like boring on a first impression
-> Coming back effect. That’s what matter on this post. A coming back effect is the most wonderful phenomenon earth, as you build a loyal readers group, so you don’t have to worry about SEO anymore (I mean the example stated before, to drop on search rankings) as you will have guaranteed visitors.
There goes another tip.
Replying
We all know that blogging is a two way communication, relationship between the blogger and its readers, a quid pro quo.
Answering to visitor’s comments and emails on a nice way would keep them coming back, so your traffic won’t decrease (or at least not as much as if you never answer).
Don’t worry if you don’t feel like answering instantly.
Come back later. It’s better to make them wait for some hours to shot a nice and useful answer rather than answering just to do it now and getting to another more important thing.
More tips there.
Social Media
Creating social profiles and not updating them is a common mistake too.
I’ve seen some profiles that haven’t been updated for more than 7 months. This shows a non interested guy, a dead feeling.
Updating regularly, both your blog and social profiles associated with it, will not only bring you new visitors, but it will surely help to keep those you already has.
Ok, more tips over there.
Making some kind of script so that visitors can’t close the browser and leave your blog is also a good way to keep your readers on fixed number or increase them. You can go to getafreelancer.com to get a coder and…
Just kidding!
Instead of that script, link your site internally. The more posts they read from you, the more they will love the content!
More tips and a joke here.
To sum up. You shouldn’t only care about getting new visitors each day. You should take care of those who really feed your blog, those who visit it every day.
Thanks for reading.

This is my first time here. I’ve bookmarked your blog as I found it helpful.
Gaining traffic is something I’m still trying to do. I’ve found posting on forums like Digital Point and leaving comments on other blogs (not spam comments) has helped me.

Thanks Dean.
Gaining traffic is something you must do every day unless you’re a true authority on your niche.
